Second-hand car export platform service with auto loan deployed in Kenya

Japanese media startup ‘Zigexn‘ started full-scale deployment of second-hand car export platform service combined car loan, from the beginning of September 2017.
This service is offered at the company’s second-hand car export platform “Car-Tana.com (Katana)” and is the first effort to be used as a used car portal site in Japan.

Because of this loan service, buyers of used cars can purchase used cars by installments, so users who do not have sufficient money can also purchase.
Users who have not been able to do so can also be targeted.

However, there is no guarantee that users will surely pay installment payments.
Because it targets users who do not have funds that can be bought at one time, there is a great concern about collection of funds.
Therefore, in cooperation with the local microfinance company(ALIOS FINANCE KENYA), the company installed a GPS module that can stop and collect the vehicle remotely when it is unpaid, in a used car.
